Melantha Ye

In early 2022, a chained woman who gave birth to eight children and was abducted caused a stir on the Chinese Internet. Trafficking and using women as reproductive tools have been a big problem in China for hundreds of years, and my work is inspired by these real cases to give a voice to women who are still suffering.
