Dr Ceri Oeppen researches and teaches issues relating to migration, conflict and development. Most of her research has been about Afghanistan and Afghan asylum seekers and refugees. She is a Lecturer in Human Geography at the University of Sussex and a Global Fellow of the Peace Research Institute Oslo.
She is currently working on a project entitles Possibilities and Realities of Return Migration (PREMIG) funded by the Research Council Norway. Five case study countries of which two are Pakistan and Afghanistan. I'm in charge of the Afghan case study.
