Our Japanese language courses are designed to focus on spoken language while also exploring Japanese culture and society. You’ll learn both Hiragana and Katakana writing systems from our experienced and qualified tutors.

  • Level 1 – Beginners

    ‘Japanese for Travel’*

    *aimed at students who might travel to Japan and use some basic language to enable them to interact with Japanese people. The course mainly covers the simple noun sentences which enable you to ask time, opening hours for facilities, prices, and locations, etc. The set phrases, such as self-introduction, greetings, and food-ordering will also be taught. The later part of the course will focus on learning verb sentences so you will be able to ask about transportation, food and drink, etc. The course will be taught using the Romanized scripts, and you will also be introduced to the Japanese Hiragana phonetic alphabet system. No textbook required.
