| Flexibilité, réactivité, souplesse sont autant d’atouts des PME-PMI aujourd’hui largement reconnus. Celles-ci sont pour autant bien souvent dans l’incapacité de bénéficier de l’effet de masse et de la concentration des moyens qui font la caractéristique des grands groupes. | Flexibility, speed of reaction and adaptability are advantages of SMEs, that are today widely recognised. situation évolue actuellement grâce à la mise
en place de réseaux de PME-PMI. Ce phénomène
se développe un peu partout dans le monde (pays scandinaves,
Grande-Bretagne, Canada, Australie, Nouvelle-Zélande) et parfois
même avec succès (au Danemark, la centaine de réseaux
créés au début des années 80 a réanimé
le tissu des PME-PMI). C’est la raison pour laquelle Seine-Maritime Expansion a souhaité introduire cette approche nouvelle en France et a mis en place un programme Interreg dans le Sussex avec Business Link. |
Matters
are improving at present due to the establishment of networks of SMEs.
The growth of such networks is observed just about everywhere in the world (in Scandinavia, Great Britain, Canada, Australia and New Zealand) and is sometimes very successful (in Denmark the one hundred or so networks created at the start of the 1980s have given new life to the tissue of SMEs). It is for this reason that Seine-Maritime Expansion wished to introduce this new networking approach in France and accordingly agreed to establish an Interreg programme with Sussex Business Link. |

réseau signifie réunir sans fusionner des PME-PMI qui
ont des objectifs communs comme le développement d’une
opportunité d’affaire (marché trop important, gamme
de produits insuffisante,...), l’optimisation des achats, la
mise en place d’une solution à un problème donné
ou bien encore l’amélioration d’une situation de sous-traitance. L’objectif est clairement de “faire des affaires” sans perdre pour autant son identité. |
The aim of the networks is to link but not to merge SMEs which have a common business objective such as the pursuit of a business opportunity (where the market is too large for one firm, or a firm’s range of products is too limited), the optimization of purchases, the implementation of a solution to a given problem or even the improvement of a subcontracting arrangement. The aim clearly is to ‘do business’ without losing one’s identity. | |

| Seine-Maritime Expansion en collaboration avec son homologue anglais cherche donc à travers ce programme Interreg à appuyer, à l’aide de sa méthodologie, les PME-PMI pour qui le réseau pourrait offrir une opportunité. Les secteurs plus particulièrement visés sont ceux de l’électronique, de l’agro-alimentaire et de la logistique, mais toute entreprise sera bien évidemment la bienvenue, quelle que soit son activité. | Seine-Maritime Expansion, in collaboration with its English equivalent, is therefore seeking via this Interreg programme to use this method to support the SMEs for whom a network might offer an opportunity. The sectors that are in particular targeted are electronics, food processing and logistics and transport, but any firm is clearly welcome to take part no matter what sector it is in. | |
