Spring teaching
This modules gives you direct experience of carrying out a small scale research project or theoretical study and follows directly on from the Research Proposal module. You will continue with your empirical and background research under the guidance of a supervisor and will produce an 8,000-word report on your findings.

Contact hours and workload
This module is approximately 300 hours of work. This breaks down into about 17 hours of contact time and about 283 hours of independent study. The University may make minor variations to the contact hours for operational reasons, including timetabling requirements.
We regularly review our modules to incorporate student feedback, staff expertise, as well as the latest research and teaching methodology.
