This module builds on the Tort Law 1 module by further developing your skills and knowledge, and engaging with further key elements and principles of tort law.
The focus is predominantly on the law in England and Wales, but other jurisdictions and the socio-political context of tort law will be explored as appropriate.

Contact hours and workload
This module is approximately 150 hours of work. This breaks down into about 27 hours of contact time and about 123 hours of independent study. The University may make minor variations to the contact hours for operational reasons, including timetabling requirements.
We regularly review our modules to incorporate student feedback, staff expertise, as well as the latest research and teaching methodology.
