Eight doctoral researchers win Student-Led Teaching Awards
Congratulations and well done to the eight doctoral researchers who were recently awarded Student-Led Teaching Awards.
The Student Led Teaching Awards are a partnership between the University of Sussex and the Students’ Union. Each year students are invited to say thank you to a member of staff who has made a difference to their teaching and learning experience at Sussex by nominating them for an award.
The doctoral researchers who won awards for 2016-17 were:
- Harry Koivisto (School of Engineering and Informatics) - Outstanding or Innovative Undergraduate Teaching
- Arabella Kyprianides (School of Psychology) - Outstanding or Innovative Undergraduate Teaching
- Fiona Clements (School of Psychology) - Outstanding or Innovative Undergraduate Teaching
- Wendy Ashall (School of Education and Social Work) - Outstanding Support for the Learning Experience of Students
- Chowdhury Shabab (School of Business, Management and Economics) - Outstanding or Innovative Undergraduate Teaching
- Carmen Leon Himmelstine (School of Global Studies) - Outstanding or Innovative Undergraduate Teaching
- John Walker (School of Global Studies) - Outstanding or Innovative Undergraduate Teaching
- Karis Petty (School of Global Studies) - Outstanding or Innovative Undergraduate Teaching
