Doctoral researcher's study investigates secrets of hypnosis
School of Psychology doctoral researcher Peter Lush was recently featured in a Sussex news item, after his research into hypnosis provided evidence that hypnotised subjects experienced a sense of involuntariness.
The study involved examining the reaction times of participants susceptible to hypnotism when they pressed a button voluntarily, involuntarily, and whilst in a hypnotic state.
