Whether you’re a total beginner or an experienced athlete, Active US is here to help you move, have fun and feel part of campus life.

How to book your session
Secure your spot for Active US sessions by following these simple steps:
- log in to our booking system via the link above with your Sussex ID (ab123, for instance) and your usual password
- click ‘Book and Pay for Active US Sessions’
- select your chosen session(s)
- go to your basket and checkout.
Our volleyball and football sessions fill up quickly so do book early to guarantee your spot.
Reasons to take part in Active US
Active US is all about participation, inclusivity and enjoyment. Sessions are:
- casual and commitment-free – join when you can
- beginner-friendly – no experience needed, all equipment provided
- affordable – sessions are just £2
- varied – from competitive leagues to themed events like UV nights, Girls Takeover Week and One World Week
- collaborative – events are hosted in conjunction with ResLife, the Buddy Scheme and academic schools among others
- across campus – from sport facilities to halls and study spaces.
