Learn free weights technique, take part in some functional fitness or tone up with some pilates - we have a class for everyone.

Classes

Quality instruction and teaching is at the heart of every class and you'll benefit from the energy that group training brings.

Relax with our variety of yoga classes, try out aerial circus, or hit the gym for our intense Metabolic class. If you prefer a lower impact session, then ease yourself into some Pilates or raise your heart rate with Cardiobox.

Our weekly drop-in group fitness classes are free with our Gold and Silver Sussexsport memberships. Or, you can pay per class with staff Bronze membership or as a non-member. View our price list for pay as you go options.

Weightlifting For Beginners

Our small group pathway is perfect for those that want to build their confidence with free weights, learn correct techniques and increase their strength! We recommend beginners start with the Small Group Training class, progress to Small Group Strength when you've gained some experience and then try out Small group Metabolic or Small group Cyclecross if you fancy somethig a bit different. If you're a confident lifter and like a high intensity workout, you can jump straight in to Small Group Metabolic or Cyclecross.

You can view our latest group fitness class timetable now. We will run a programme of group fitness classes throughout the year. However during quieter times, the programme is subject to change.

How do I book?

You can book classes online or in person at the Sport Centre or Falmer Sports Complex. Alternatively, book via the iScuba app, available for iPhone and iPad.
