PUG Talks

The PUG talk series are accessible, ‘faculty-free’ talks about the active world-leading research happening in MPS aimed at undergraduates to early career researchers across all maths and physics disciplines. The talks aim to promote school cohesion and close gaps both between research disciplines and between career stages; encouraging collaboration and foster discussions within the school.

For this special freshers week event, there will be presentations from JRA (junior research associate) undergraduate students about their 8-week summer research project. There will also be research posters from across MPS showcasing the areas of work undertaken at the university and to give a taster of what a JRA project, final year project or PhD may involve.
