Background
Zygimantas Jocys started his PhD in August 2019 in the Wearable Technologies Lab at the University of Sussex. His PhD is funded by an EPSRC iCASE fellowship and Unilever.
He is from Lithuania, and did his undergraduate in Electrical Engineering and Electronics at University of Southampton.
His research interests lie in human activity recognition, deep learning, unsupervised learning, active learning and online learning. His PhD Topic is 'Online learning using gradient based methods' within the context of behaviour analytics in everyday life.
