Research Profiles
All University of Sussex researchers have a profile in Elements, the University’s Current Research Information System. Elements showcases your research and scholarship. Make sure you keep your Elements profile up to with full details of all your research activities. This will help to raise your profile and promote your research.
- Elements

Elements is the Current Research Information System (CRIS) used at the University. Elements supports the management of research activities by providing one single point of organisation, presentation and reporting for all scholarly and research activities, including research outputs. - ORCID
-
ORCID is short for Open Researcher and Contributor ID. It is an international standard to help researchers to establish and maintain their scholarly identity. It aims to solve common issues such as
- not getting credit for your research because your name is common or because you have published using a different version of your name
- struggling to find a central place to keep track of all your research outputs
- having to spend time entering the same information over and over in publisher and grant submission systems
