Children's Peer Relations, Social Cognition, Kindness
Developmental Psychology will help you understand the behaviour of the children in your life as well as what influenced your own development. We'll evaluate classic and contemporary research theories across a wide range of areas within Developmental Psychology, including language, attachment, emotion and gender. You'll learn about the physical, communicative, emotional, cognitive and social development that we undergo during childhood and adolescence. And we'll explore the influence of nature and nurture, why there are individual differences in child development, how empathy is developed, or what are the psychological effects of social media.
