After developing the ability to feel emotion, two artificial intelligence beings built to serve the human race known as ‘mentors’, take human forms on Earth to experience humanity. They explore wonders of the everyday, such as food, and nature. After their first interactions with humans on Earth, they befriend two young women who take them on a night out. During this time, the pair are exposed to the painful truth of being human, and how the mentor service is not helping. The Mentors must then decide whether to stay and indulge in human pleasures or return to service to help the system and humanity overall.
