Biography
Alice is an Assistant Professor and course lead for the PG Diploma in Psychological Therapies in the School of Psychology. The course provides training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to existing mental health professionals, in partnership with the NHS. She is a BABCP accredited CBT Therapist and has worked in the NHS with adults experiencing common mental health problems for over 10 years.
She has previously trained in Low Intensity CBT and NHS Talking Therapies Supervision, and worked as a Teaching Fellow on the Advanced Practice in Psychological Wellbeing programme at Surrey University from 2015-17.
In 2024, Alice won a student-nominated award for Inspirational Teaching in the School of Psychology, and in 2025 was nominated for the Education for Employability and World Readiness category at the Sussex Awards.
