Research

Currently I am interested in learned associations between food and environmental cues and the underlying neuronal ensembles, sparsely distributed behaviourally activated neurons. I am investigating the role of internal states and specific incentive motivation on food-approach behaviour and neuronal ensemble activity patterns using Pavlovian conditioning, immunohistochemistry, and electrophysiology.
