Funding your PhD

We have a range of funding sources for PhD students which is typically restricted to particular research directions and in many cases has restrictions based on nationality and residency.  At the same time, you are welcome to apply to any of our projects, or propose your own, if you can fund your studies through an independent financial sponsor (such as the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission, CONACYT, etc), or can self-fund. Please contact research groups and supervisors.

In addition, please see the University funding and scholarships directory which also lists funding opportunities.

Applying

Every applicant needs to make an on-line application which includes references and evidence of academic qualifications. More details including eligibility requirements can be found on our prospectus pages.
