Ongoing Infrastructure Issues within Azure affecting Shibboleth

IT Services are aware of an ongoing IT Infrastructure issues within the Microsoft Azure Cloud which are unfortunately impacting on some of our own services, such as Shibboleth.
Shibboleth is used to grant access to services, such as online resources from the Library.
Microsoft are currently working on resolving this issue (Tracking ID GVY5-TZZ) and have already deployed mitigations to bring services back online. Until this fault is resolved it is possible our services may still be affected.
We will continue to monitor the situation.

Microsoft have now resolved their Infrastructure issues and we can now confirm that our Shibboleth service is back online.
We are continuing to monitor this service.
