On Wednesday 16 December, ITS will be making some security related changes to the wired and wireless networks. If you are using your own device when either connecting wirelessly to eduroam or via the wired network, you may see a prompt on your device asking you to accept a new certificate. It is strongly advised not to click 'Trust'.
If you are presented with a certificate prompt, please follow the instructions at https://www.sussex.ac.uk/eduroam/ to reconnect your device to eduroam or the wired network. These instructions are also available by connecting to the 'sussex-ac-uk-wifi-setup' wireless network. These steps can be taken ahead of time to ensure you will not see the certificate prompt. Further information and guidance on connecting to eduroam is available at the following address: http://www.sussex.ac.uk/its/services/networkandstorage/networkandinternet
This applies to both students and staff. Devices provided by the University of Sussex should be unaffected by this change.
