Systems / Services Affected: Global Protect, a piece of security software on Sussex PCs, is being updated tomorrow. This is essential to restore some services that have recently been interrupted, in particular those used by the Admissions team.
You may see popups from Global Protect once your version has updated. If you’re working off-campus, these messages may say that your connection has failed or been lost.
If you simply click off any Global Protect messages, you should be able to continue working normally.

Reason for downtime: This is the first of two updates to our security systems.
The first is essential before the Admissions team set up for clearing. We will delay the second update to ensure that no changes are taking place during clearing.
After this, we’ll provide more news about what’s changing with Global Protect.
