Systems / Services Affected: If you use the Skype for Business mobile app to connect to the University’s Skype for Business service, you won’t be able to log in. The PC and Mac applications are working normally.

In addition to problems with the Skype for Business mobile app, desktop applications and dedicated IP phones are no longer connecting to the service.
We're sorry about this interruption to service and we are working with our support partners to restore Skype for Business as quickly as possible.

We are continuing to work with our support partners to restore Skype for Business.
In the meantime, the IT Service Desk (8090) is unable to take your phone calls. Please email us at itservicedesk@sussex.ac.uk if you need support.

Skype for Business is still unavailable this morning. We are working urgently with our support partners to restore this service and we'll publish further news as soon as there are any updates.

Please note that the Finance Service Desk also uses Skype for Business, so if you need to contact them please email rt-finance-servicedesk@sussex.ac.uk
Skype for Business is now working normally on all desktop computers, IP phones and via the mobile app.
We are continuing to work with our support partners to investigate the cause of this issue and take steps to prevent similar issues in the future.
