The following telephone extensions are currently unable to make or receive phone calls:
4800 - 6999
7500 - 7699
7800 - 7999
We are expecting our suppliers to resolve the problem tomorrow morning.
We're sorry about this inconvenience and we will restore connections to these phone numbers as quickly as possible.

An engineer is on site and has completed a temporary fix which has restored service to most phones, however there are 30 extensions that are still affected. A new part has been ordered and will be fitted on Tuesday 2nd July which will restore service to all extensions

All phones are working normally this morning.
However, there will be a 10-minute interruption around 09:00 tomorrow morning (Tuesday 2 July) for the following extensions:
4800 - 6999
7500 - 7699
7800 - 7999
This is to allow for additional maintenance to restore the resilience of the telephony system.

About 300 phones on campus are currently affected by problems with the telephony system. If you’re affected, you won’t currently be able to make or receive call.
The fault with the system is wider than we thought, so we’re performing additional maintenance and repairs. We hope to resolve all issues today.
We’re sorry if you’ve been affected by telephone issues recently. We are working to repair the system and restore normal functionality as quickly as possible.
All issues with the telephony system have been resolved, and all phones seem to be working normally.
