Systems / Services Affected: Some telephones on campus are unable to make or receive calls

Reason for downtime: We’re currently urgently investigating this issue with our suppliers and we’ll restore service as quickly as possible.

The following telephone extensions are currently unable to make or receive phone calls:

An engineer is on site and has completed a temporary fix which has restored service to most phones, however there are 30 extensions that are still affected.   A new part has been ordered and will be fitted on Tuesday 2nd July which will restore service to all extensions

About 300 phones on campus are currently affected by problems with the telephony system.  If you’re affected, you won’t currently be able to make or receive call.

The fault with the system is wider than we thought, so we’re performing additional maintenance and repairs.  We hope to resolve all issues today.

We’re sorry if you’ve been affected by telephone issues recently.  We are working to repair the system and restore normal functionality as quickly as possible.
