Description of work:
We will be updating the software on the campus Wi-Fi controllers on Tuesday morning. The controllers provide Wi-Fi access across the campus (off-campus residences and offices). There are five controllers, each connected to certain buildings.
While we’re updating a controller, Wi-Fi will be unavailable in the buildings it controls. Each update will take between 5 and 20 minutes. During this time, you won’t be able to connect to eduroam or o2.
The wired network will continue to work during this time.
If you’re concerned that the Wi-Fi in your building will be affected at an important time, please contact the IT Service Desk.
Date / time:
Tuesday 09 April 2019, 07:00 - 09:00

We’ve had to postpone tomorrow’s Wi-Fi maintenance until later in the month. This is because we haven’t received the necessary software from our suppliers.
As soon as we have the software we’ll find a new date for this work and let you know via ITS News and Twitter.
