We will be changing the underlying storage for Sussex Direct to a new platform that’s ready for further improvements expected in the future.

Is this work likely to cause disruption?
Yes, Sussex Direct won’t be available during this work. We expect to restore the service quickly, but it should be considered at-risk until 9am:

Why are we doing this work?
New technologies are arriving in the new year to support the modernisation of IT at Sussex. However, we are also working to ensure that our older platforms remain robust, resilient and ready for future improvement.
