The network maintenance that had been scheduled for this morning has now been moved to Friday morning. This is due to the storm damage and repair work yesterday.
Description of work:
We’ll be performing essential maintenance on the network firewalls.

Is this work likely to cause disruption?
There will be a few short (a few seconds) interruptions to all network connections on campus. There is a possibility of interruption to services including Study Direct, Sussex Direct, Business Applications and eduroam.
What will you notice while this work is carried out?
If you’re working during this maintenance, you may notice that your network connection drops a few times. The services listed above may be unavailable for short periods of time.
We recommend that you do not attempt to upload or download large files during this time.
Why are we doing this work?
This work is essential to maintain the security of the campus network.
