Using Yellow Forms / The Oracle database from home
Using a PC
You do not need to connect to your desktop machine on campus to use Yellow Forms from home – you simply open an IE browser window directly on your PC after connecting via the VPN.
Please follow these steps:
- Connect to the VPN using GlobalProtect. If you haven’t got GlobalProtect setup on your PC, please refer to the VPN connection instructions, or contact the IT Service Desk.
- Open Internet Explorer
(Yellow Forms won’t work in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or any other browser) - Visit the ITS Business Applications page
- Follow the link to Login to the database
- Log in using your Sussex username and your database password (this may not be the same as your usual Sussex password)
Using a Mac
- Connect to the VPN using GlobalProtect. If you haven’t got GlobalProtect setup on your PC, please refer to the VPN connection instructions, or contact the IT Service Desk.
- Launch the Microsoft Remote Desktop app
- Connect to Remote Desktop
- Launch Internet Explorer on the Remote Desktop
- Visit the ITS Business Applications page
- Follow the link to Login to the database
- Log in using your Sussex username and your database password (this may not be the same as your usual Sussex password)

Java Security errors
