2881How long will it take until my lecture recording is available?
The length of time it takes for a lecture recording to be processed can vary and depends on a number of factors such as:
- The duration of the recording
- Which video sources were recorded (presentation and/or camera)
- How much movement there is in the video/number of slide transitions, etc
For a 50 minute, presentation only, recording we would expect the initial processing stage to complete in ~10 minutes after which time the recording is held for review/editing. Once the recording is set to publish it will take another ~30 minutes of processing to complete the publishing task.
Processing times may also vary depending on how busy the lecture capture system is at the time of processing.
