How do I add the Box tools to my work Mac?


Box Tools is a useful program which lets you edit files stored in Box using applications on your Mac such as Word or Excel. If you work on a University Mac managed by IT Services, you can install Box Tools as follows:

  1. Open either the Applications folder or Launchpad
  2. Select Install box tools
  3. When you run the package you will be prompted to install Box Tools

 

 

Box for Office
The Box for Office add-on, which is mentioned in FAQs for Windows PC users, is not available on the Mac but you can still edit files on Box from Office programs using Box Tools.
