How do I insert a picture into Word?

Microsoft Word 2016

  1. Place the cursor in your Word document where you want the picture to appear.
  2. From the Insert tab, Illustrations group, select either Pictures to insert a picture from your computer or Online Pictures to add a picture from the web - you will be directed to a Bing search portal
  3. Navigate to select the required file.
  4. Click Insert.
