Careers and Employability Centre
The Careers and Employability Centre (CEC) offers a wide range of services and publications to help you develop your future prospects and find work during and after your studies.

All staff in the Careers and Employability Centre are available to help researchers. To arrange a one to one career advice consultation contact careers@sussex.ac.uk. A consultation can be very useful for help with your job search, researching a career that is right for you, and for advice on CVs, applications and job interviews.
Alumni Careers Network: The Alumni Careers Network allows you to access a network of 500 former Sussex students from around the world who have offered to give advice about careers to current students.

Beyond the PhD: Developed as a career resource for arts and humanities PhD researchers by the UK Centre for Career Management Studies (CCMS), this website offers thought provoking and professional insights into life after the PhD. There are no prescribed career pathways, rather a range of different perspectives to inspire you to create your own… life beyond the PhD.
Euraxess - Research Careers in Europe
EURAXESS is a unique European initiative providing access to information and support services for researchers wishing to pursue their research careers in Europe or stay connected to it. In the UK EURAXESS activities are co-ordinated by the British Council and the dedicated EURAXESS UK Portal provides practical information for EU researchers working or looking to work in the UK.
The University of Sussex is a Euraxess Local Contact Point, meaning that the University has access to a large network of contacts in research organisations across Europe as well as a wealth of information that can be used to offer support and advice on researcher mobility related matters.
