Taking part in a ceremony

A key element to creating such a celebratory atmosphere at graduation is the presence of academic and professional services staff.

As an academic, students will appreciate seeing you alongside them on stage and at the post-ceremony drinks reception.

If you’re a member of professional services staff, your practical input in the event is just as important. Roles available include:

• registration and ticket distribution
• stewarding guests and graduands
• graduand robing.
