The Evolution Group

The School of Life Sciences, at the University of Sussex, was founded by the great evolutionary biologist, John Maynard Smith. His legacy continues today with an active and vibrant group of evolutionary biologists working on a variety of problems. The Evolution group has particular strengths in the evolution of social insect behaviour and molecular evolution.
