The Mental Health Practice Unit will aim to:

1. Support academic and clinical researchers to design and deliver programmes of high quality research that enhance understandings of mental health problems, and provide evidence for effective psychological interventions and models of service delivery.
2. Educate, train and support practitioners to deliver evidence-based care and psychological interventions.
3. Promote positive attitudes towards and understandings of mental health within the general public.
