Welcome Week takes place between Monday 16 and Friday 20 September 2024.
There are a number of Welcome Week activities for you to attend. Find details of the timetables below.

New undergraduate students

The Meet is a half-day (3.5 hour) programme designed to help you transition into university life and degree-level study, and to enable you to meet and make connections with your peers, your Academic Advisor, and our Psychology student mentors.
Attendance at The Meet is expected for all Psychology students. You will receive an email to your Sussex email address the week before Welcome Week, confirming who your Academic Advisor is and which half day you will be attending The Meet.
Explore The Meet canvas module before you attend! Please also note the short list of instructions to prepare for the Meet, including informing us of dietary and access needs that you might have. In the meantime, please complete the student information form.

TUESDAY 17 SEPTEMBER

Psychology Undergraduate Induction and Support Talk - with Professor Alison Pike (Head of the School of Psychology) and Karen Long (Director of Student Experience)
4pm - 5pm – Jubilee Courtyard and adjacent indoor space
Psychology Undergraduate Welcome Social. Refreshments provided.
9am - 6pm – Room G36, Jubilee Building
Quiet room – a place to go if you're feeling overwhelmed and would like a break from the activities.
All Day – Fulton
