The Hoffmann lab focuses on the roles of mismatch repair proteins and the processes they are involved in during meiosis (crossing over and chromosome segregation) and mitosis (replication fidelty).
We have on-going discovery science projects as well as translational research collaborations in the lab.
We direct the Human MeioMap Project, a large multi-national collaboration, which aims to map genomic changes directly in human germline and early embryos.
