| L'ESIGELEC (Ecole Supérieure d'Ingénieurs en Génie Electrique) forte de son image de Grande Ecole, forme depuis 1901 des ingénieurs généralistes (200 par an) dans les domaines du génie électrique, de l'électronique et des systèmes embarqués, de l'informatique et des télécommunications. | ESIGELEC (Graduate College of Electrical Engineering), with a strong reputation as a Grande Ecole, has been training engineers (200 per year) since 1901 in the fields of electrical engineering, electronics and Embedded systems, and computing and telecommunications. | |
| Depuis 1999, le cursus s'articule autour d'un projet professionnel parraîné par des industriels permettant aux élèves-ingénieurs d'acquérir une double compétence technique et humaine, nécessaire à une bonne intégration dans le monde de l'entreprise. L'ESIGELEC s'est aussi donné une véritable dimension européenne et internationale (accords avec des écoles ou universités étrangères, stages à l'étranger) et anime par ailleurs 3 actions dans le cadre d'INTERREG. Soucieuse de répondre aux besoins des industries, l'ESIGELEC entretient avec elles des liens étroits. Le rôle stratégique des partenaires industriels s'affirme sous diverses formes : participation à la définition des grands axes pédagogiques, stages, formation continue, contrats industriels, apprentissage. Ces relations conduisent à des partenariats avec de grandes entreprises telles que Alcatel, EDF, Renault, IBM, ESSO ... | Since 1999 the curriculum has centred on a professional project, sponsored by industry, allowing engineering students to acquire a double function technical and human, both of which are necessary for their successful integration into the business world. | L'ESIGELEC jouera à Rouen un rôle incontournable dans la création sur le Technopôle du Madrillet d'une plateforme d'électronique embarquée appliquée aux filières automobile, aéronautique et aérospatiale. Au travers de l'IRSEEM (voir page 3), elle apportera le complément nécessaire en matière de R&D, de formation et de services aux établissements existants. | ESIGELEC will play in Rouen a key role in the creation of a platform for embedded electronics systems for the car, aeronautical and aerospace sectors at the Madrillet technopole in Rouen.
