On this module you’ll learn key project management skills and capabilities such as scope, time, cost and quality management, as well as professional ethics and the importance of the professional role in society.
Teaching and learning methods include lectures and workshops on project management knowledge areas, leading to a group project, and seminars based around case studies on the application of ethical principles. You’ll also benefit from guest lecturers to enhance your learning and skills development.

- time management and Gantt charts

- entrepreneurship.
Module learning outcomes
- Demonstrate an integrated understanding of the key project management knowledge areas; including scope, time, cost, and quality management.
- Demonstrate the ability to apply project management tools, which may be used to achieve engineering/product design objectives within the commercial and economic context.
