Critically reflect on how they identified and responded to the challenges of living and studying abroad.
Show evidence of how they have developed greater awareness of the host context and cultural difference.
Demonstrate enhanced communication and other transferable skills, and the capacity to reflect on the learning experience of the Year Abroad.
Display improved linguistic skills and performance in formal and informal situations in the target language studied.
Show how they have managed their own learning, and the potential to develop sustained autonomy as a language learner and user, in preparation for their final year studies and future employment.
