This module embraces interdisciplinary perspectives to examine concepts and strategies of resistance and social justice from a global outlook. It examines selected historical and cultural cases where ideas and practices adopted in Europe and around the world have challenged ideologies, and/or political powers, patriarchal society, racism, religious intolerance and abuse of human rights. In all these cases, resistance has often resulted in social, political and cultural revolution.
