This module offers a broad overview of the intersection between law and technology. Introduced in response to student demand for an additional Spring module in the second year (Level 5), it will serve as a foundation for more in-depth exploration in standalone optional modules at Level 6. The module brings together multiple faculty members with expertise in various law and technology area, providing students with a broad understanding of the subject matter and inspire interest for further study in their final year. We aim to adopt an innovative approach to teaching and assessment, focusing on case studies to develop students’ analytical skills and a group-based assessment that minimises both student workload and marking.
