This module focuses on the area of civil law primarily concerned with providing a remedy to persons who have been wrongfully harmed by the conduct of others.

You’ll be introduced to the general principles of tort law and will explore in more detail a variety of different torts gaining a knowledge of the key elements required to establish these more specific torts.

Module learning outcomes

  • Evidence an understanding of the general principles of tort law.
