Creative Industries: Final Project
Module code: V4070
Level 6
30 credits in spring semester
Teaching method: Lecture, Workshop
Assessment modes: Coursework
This is your chance to draw on everything you have learnt during the Creative Industries BA by devising your own project in response to this year’s Brighton Festival theme. Imagine that you are going to programme an event: What will it be? Who will it be pitched at? Where will it be held? How will it be funded? How will it be marketed? How will it serve it the community? Workshops and tutorials with you supervisor and industry mentors provide support and guidance as you develop a professional portfolio to document your plans. You will also have the opportunity to pitch your events at a public event in the Brighton Festival in May.
Module learning outcomes

- Draw on prior learning to link ideas to relevant social, cultural and political contexts.
- Demonstrate familiarity with, and ability to identify and use, appropriate tools to plan and deliver arts projects.
- Engage with and respond to regular feedback.
