You study the tools and methodologies used for making informed trading decisions.
You develop an understanding of market variables, such as macro-economic indicators and exchange rates.
You are also introduced to basic technical analysis and risk management - and have the chance to participate in trading sessions using live and simulated data in our dealer rooms.
Module learning outcomes
- Demonstrate the ability to place different types of trades according to the market environment
- Interpret and critically evaluate the market information correctly to determine the trade signals
- Demonstrate a good understanding of the fundamentals of trading, risk control and portfolio management
- Identify and manage risks in their trading books
