On this module, you'll:
- be introduced to the latest energy technologies
- understand the physical principles underlying technology
- discuss the technologies’ environmental, economic, and social impacts.
Covering fossil fuels, renewable and nuclear energy, you'll evaluate the key sources of energy available. You'll also look at potential solutions to the energy problems facing us today.

- Demonstrate an understanding of the basic principles of sustainable sources of energy
- Demonstrate an understanding of the basic principles of modes of energy storage and distribution
- Develop arguments regarding the merit of the application of sustainable energy sources, energy storage and distribution
- Demonstrate by presentation an understanding the implications of the demand of energy by society
