Topics treated include:

• the science of climate change
• emission scenarios and options for abatement
• costs of emission reduction
• policy instruments for emission reduction
• impacts of and adaptation to climate change
• optimal climate policy.

• Demonstrate a critical and systematic understanding of the economics of climate
• Deploy established economic analyses to study the problem of climate change and its solutions
