Teaching method: Not yet finalised
Assessment modes: Not yet finalised

This module will critically engage with the relationship of education and development and how their conjuncture has led to our contemporary situation where the world is confronted by climate change, environmental degradation and all their broader social consequences. We interrogate the concept of decolonisation and what the implications of decolonising education and development might be for societies that are committed to pursuing principles of sustainability, both with respect to the curriculum and pedagogy. Students will be formatively assessed through group presentations.
