The Jan Metzger Scholarship in Artificial Intelligence and Adaptive Systems is kindly funded through a generous donation from Sussex alumnus, Jan Metzger. The scholarship is available for a student taking up a place on Artificial Intelligence and Adaptive Systems MSc (including with industrial placement year) at Sussex in 2025.

Jan Metzger, the donor of the Metzger Scholarship works in banking, technology and knowledge management and is keen that recipients of this scholarship have a moral commitment to doing good in the world.
