Internet Explorer Compatibility Mode in Micrososft Edge
In order to open "Yellow Screens" in Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer Compatibilty Mode needs to be enabled. To do this:
- Open Microsoft Edge
- Click on the three dots at the top right hand side of the browser
- Select "Settings"
- Select "Default Browser" in the left hand list of available settings
- Choose "Allow" in the allow sites to open in Internet Explorer dropdown list
- You'll need to restart the browser to let this change take effect
- To open Oracle, visit the Business Applications site (https://www.sussex.ac.uk/its/services/staffservices/businessapplications) and click on "Login to the database"
- It will fail to open... click the three dots in the top right hand corner of the browser and select "Reload in Internet Explorer Mode"... clear the Java questions "as normal"
