How to get involved?
The PDN is a free association of post-doctoral staff at Sussex University. Every postdoc is welcome, which includes both teaching and research staff.
There's no membership, no fees, and no secret handshakes.
To participate, simply come along to our events. Normally, all post-docs at the University are automatically included in our mailing list (the list is updated once a year). If you are not on our mailing list yet but want to join in order to receive updates about events and news, then go to

and enter your Sussex Uni e-mail address to subscribe to the mailing list.
We are constantly looking for new people to get involved in running events. If you are a post-doc at Sussex and interested in running a research- or teaching-themed event, or a workshop about early-career development, simply get in touch with Ron at postdocs@sussex.ac.uk to advertise the event to all postdocs on our website and additionally to all PDN subscribers by e-mail.
